Delete your account
In short: open the app and go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion happens straight away and can’t be undone. If you can’t sign in, email us and we’ll delete the account for you.
Delete your account in the app
This works the same on Android, iOS and the web at baghchalworld.com.
- Open Baghchal World and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap Profile at the bottom of the screen, then the Settings gear at the top right.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation, “Delete your account?”, and tap Delete account again.
You are signed out and see “Your account has been deleted”. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
Can’t sign in? Ask us by email
Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Baghchal World account”.
- Send it from the email address on the account, or tell us the phone number on the account.
- We verify that the request comes from the account holder, then delete the account.
- Never send us your password.
What we delete
As soon as your account is deleted we:
- sign you out on every device and erase your sign-in history (IP addresses and devices);
- erase your email address, phone number, password, Google link and avatar;
- replace your name with “Deleted player” and your username with an anonymous one, so past standings, brackets and replays no longer identify you.
What we keep
- Game and tournament records, anonymised, so results, standings, brackets and replays stay correct for other players.
- Payment records for tournament entry fees, for as long as Nepali tax and accounting law requires.
- Server logs for the limited period needed for security and troubleshooting.
Deleting your account does not cancel or refund tournament entries you have already paid for, except as our Terms of Service provide. You can create a new account with the same email address or phone number afterwards.
Your settings and any offline game in progress are kept only on your device, never on our servers. Uninstalling the Android app, or clearing our site’s data in your browser, removes them.
